The Last 9 Months
Nine months of real-time observation as a 400-year era comes to a close.
I practiced law for long enough to know what the moment looks like when a structure that is holding things together stops working.
It is not always an explosion, but more often it is a gradual failure of coherence. Things keep operating, technically, but the underlying logic seems to fade away.
That is what we are experiencing now, and I believe the reason for it is directly related to what will happen exactly 9 months from today.
According to Human Design, a specific structure that has organized a particular kind of authority for the last approximately 400 years is reaching the end of its useful life.
On February 15, 2027 it is predicted that there will be a background frequency shift that will change the way we all experience the world. My plan is to spend the next nine months writing about what this period feels like as it actually unfolds.
I came to Human Design the way I come to most things, skeptically. As an attorney, my professional training was in reading systems, stress-testing its claims, and being honest about where arguments hold and where they break down.
When I discovered Human Design, I was not looking for a framework to live by. I actually wasn’t looking for anything at all. I found Human Design by accident. But after reading the mechanics and testing them against my own experience and the experience of people I could observe closely, I found the entire system difficult to dismiss because it is so accurate. As a result, I spent the last several years immersed in the study of it. And truthfully, it is the 2027 prediction that keeps pulling me back in.
February 15, 2027 is the date when a shift in global frequency is predicted to completely change how humans organize authority. It is said that we are moving from community (which includes planning, systems, institutions) to individualism.
I plan to write a lot more about this over the next nine months. But to give you just a brief example, we have seen trust in government drop globally, especially in the United States; and it seems that the majority of people in the United States are navigating their lives without meaningful trust in the institutions they once relied upon.
We also have seen an explosion in individualism and sovereignty. More recent graduates are starting businesses instead of finding employment in institutions (both because the jobs aren’t there and because it is no longer what they want). People are building communities on smaller scales and relocating authority inward.
I do not think this is coincidence.
So, my plan (hopefully I can execute it) is to publish my observations about the 2027 shift over the next nine months. I plan to write about what I am noticing in my own life and in the world around me. I plan to look at the observable data alongside the Human Design framework and share where I see them converging. I plan to provide information on what may be helpful to experiment with before February 15, 2027 arrives.
In the meantime, I would love to hear from you.
What, in your own life right now, feels like it’s ending or coming to a close?
What systems and structures that were once useful no longer quite work for you?
Do you feel like your relationship to authority, to a set of rules, to institutions, no longer works?
I am really curious about what you are noticing and would love to hear from you.

Oh! So many things!!
Specifically, people have been becoming more concerned about themselves and less about others. I have always been careful about how my actions affect others and it seems people don’t worry about that anymore. They do what they want, when they want, without a thought or any consideration for others.
aw! Human Design besties!
